The Lucha Bros have signed new deals with All Elite Wrestling.

According to Bill Prichard of Wrestlezone, Penta El Zero M and Rey Fenix signed new deals with AEW, their existing contracts with the promotion expired on August 31. They reportedly signed a new deal on the same day, and “it was not a situation where the two were in danger of leaving AEW”.

In October, Penta changed his name in AEW from Pentagon Jr. to Penta El Zero M. The reason for the name change was due to AAA owning the rights to the Pentagon Jr. name. Penta’s new AEW contract was done without AAA being involved. The reason he used the Pentagon Jr. name in AEW was due to a working relationship the promotion had with AAA.

There is reportedly “no bad blood between the sides”.
