Mike and Maria Kanellis made a surprise appearance on last night’s episode RAW. The duo were set to face Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a Mixed Tag Match, but before Maria could get touched by Lynch, she announced she was pregnant.
Both Dave Meltzer and Mike Johnson have confirmed her pregnancy is legit, and Johnson added Kanellis didn’t make WWE aware of her pregnancy until after her and her husband signed new deals with the company. Dave Meltzer noted that the duo’s new 5-year deals come with a $500,000 a year downside guarantee.
Maria Kanellis announced her first pregnancy shortly after the duo debuted at 2017 Money In The Bank. It’s expected that Maria will be taking time off shortly, while Mike Kanellis continues to work on 205 Live. After last night’s episode, it’s unknown if Mike will continue to compete on RAW.
