WWE Adds Millie McKenzie To NXT UK Roster

British Wrestler Millie McKenzie has signed with WWE’s NXT UK brand, according to Alex McCarthy of TalkSport.

McKenzie competed in the NXT UK Women’s Championship Tournament in 2018, being eliminated by Jinny in the first round. McKenzie will also be facing Mercedez Blaze at Progress Chapter 104, which will be on WWE Network this Saturday (February 20th).

It is believed that McKenzie would have signed with WWE sooner, however, Travis Banks, who she called out during the Speaking Out movement after having an abusive relationship with him, was a member of the NXT UK Roster. Banks was released by the company last June.

Shortly after the allegations went public, Banks issued a statement apologizing for any pain he caused during their relationship.

NXT UK has signed several top names from the independent scene over recent months, including Ben Carter, Rampage Brown, and Japanese wrestling legend Meiko Satomura.
