NXT Talent Scheduled To Work Storyline With Baron Corbin

WWE will be adjusting their SmackDown taping schedule today at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Originally, the company had plans to film more than one episode, but those plans have seemingly been adjusted.

Fightful Select (subscription required) is reporting WWE is taping one episode of SmackDown and one episode of 205 Live during today’s tapings. It’s unclear if time constraints are the reason why they are not doing multiple episodes, the company did record RAW content for next week late into the night according to a report shortly after the episode.

As of midnight, WWE was still recording RAW Underground content for next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

Two talent from NXT are reportedly scheduled for the taping, but it’s unknown if their appearances will happen due to delays. The report indicates Killian Dain and Danny Burch are scheduled to be involved in a storyline with Baron Corbin.

Dain recently returned to television last month, and has worked two matches on NXT television. Danny Burch has been involved in 6-Man matches on 205 Live as of late.
