Two NXT Stars Headed To WWE Main Roster

Following her loss at NXT New Year’s Evil, Rhea Ripley is expected to join the WWE main roster, leaving the NXT brand.

According to PWInsider, Rhea Rhea Ripley’s final appearance was the NXT New Year’s Evil broadcast. Her loss against Raquel Gonzalez was to end her chapter on the black-and-yellow brand.

The report also confirms plans for Damien Priest to be called up on the main roster. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio, Damien Priest was originally planned to team with Kevin Owens to face Jey Uso and Roman Reigns during last week’s broadcast of SmackDown. Those plans were ultimately nixed during the show.
