Four Names Not Headed To Jeddah

Several WWE stars are not expected to make the trip to Saudi Arabia for WWE Super ShowDown.

Last night, Fightful Select first reported Kevin Owens has told company officials he would not be working the event.

Earlier today, Dave Meltzer confirmed Daniel Bryan has also expressed his disinterest in travelling to Saudi Arabia, and is not booked for the show.

John Pollock of Post Wrestling reports Sami Zayn and Aleister Black will not be appearing on the show.

Daniel Bryan did not work last year’s Crown Jewel event, and Sami Zayn was omitted from the Greatest Royal Rumble event due to strained ties between Syria and Saudi Arabian.

WWE’s Super ShowDown will be held on June 7 at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
