Report: Shayna Baszler Expected To Become Regular On RAW Soon

NXT Superstar Shayna Baszler is expected leave the black and yellow brand soon.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Baszler will be a regular on Monday Night RAW.

Baszler’s leave from NXT has been has been in the making for quite sometime. Initial plans of her leaving NXT began surfacing close to a year ago.

Prior to NXT moving to the USA Network, Baszler was reportedly groomed to become a major star on the main roster.

This changed when NXT decided to debut on cable television, moving weekly to USA Network. Bazsler may be kept on the yellow and black brand to help maintain star power on that division.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Shayna Baszler is scheduled to be on the 2/10 edition of RAW in Ontario, California. Baszler is expected to challenge Becky Lynch for the RAW Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 36.

One one point, Baszler was earmarked to win the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble match, but that spot was given to Charlotte Flair.
