Report: Shotzi Blackheart Signs Deal With WWE

Update: 7:30 PM ET – Shotzi Blackheart has shot down the report of her signing. Despite her denying the reports, Casey Michael of Squared Circle Sirens is stating that Shotzi is on the internal list to report to the WWE Performance Center in November.


Ashley Urbanski, aka Shotzi Blackheart has signed a deal with WWE.

According to Squared Circle Sirens, Blackheart has comes to terms with a developmental deal with WWE, and will be joining the NXT roster.

Blackheart has been a mainstay on the independent scene, known for her work in SHIMMER, RISE, and Sabotage Wrestling. She has also made appearances for IMPACT Wrestling.

She was originally scheduled to report to the WWE Performance Center this past August, but her report date was pushed back.

Blackheart had a tryout in 2016 with WWE, and was a part of WWE Tough Enough in 2015. She competed at Evolve’s 10th Anniversary special against Brandi Lauren, which aired live on WWE Network this past July.

Shotzi currently holds the SHINE Nova Championship, and will be defending it on 10/11 against Aja Perera at EVOLVE 137 in Atlanta, GA.

She is scheduled to report to the WWE Performance Center in November.
