All Elite Wrestling has signed a number of former WWE stars since its formation in 2019. This includes WWE top stars such as Jon Moxley, and Chris Jericho, and midcard talent such as Brodie Lee, FTR, and Shawn Spears,

Dave Meltzer recently noted during Wrestling Observer Radio, a large portion of the WWE roster has shown interest in All Elite Wrestling, contacting those who work in the company to see what they can get.

Meltzer answered a mailbag question regarding Chris Jericho’s recent comments on who he would like to see in All Elite Wrestling. Jericho mentioned, Roman Reigns, Will Ospreay, Ricochet, Kota Ibushi, and Don Callis.

“Virtually everybody in WWE, including guys who have claimed different at one point or another have called up people in AEW, trying to see what they can get, or have had interest”

He also mentioned Roman Reigns, and a few other top guys were the only ones who have never made contact to see what it’s like in AEW.

“Roman Reigns is not going to AEW, not happening” Meltzer stated. ” Roman Reigns, and a couple others…Roman Reigns was of the top guys, he was the only one who never inquired, so he ain’t going anywhere”

It wasn’t specified who WWE talent contacted in AEW, whether it be friends or those in management positions. Many stars continue to keep contact with each other as they have built friendships over the years.
