Report: WWE Planning Heel And Face Turns Following Draft

WWE are reportedly planning to change some Superstars following the Draft.

Following the recent WWE Draft, several superstars will reportedly be turning heel/babyface on their new brands, per PWInsider .

First is Xia Li, who will be a babyface on SmackDown. She was previously a heel on NXT alongside Mei Ying and Boa in Tian Sha.

Next is Mia Yim, who will also be a babyface but on Raw. Yim was last seen as Reckoning in Retribution, despite being moved to SmackDown following their break-up.

Shotzi Blackheart and Tegan Nox were broken up during the Draft, with Shotzi remaining on SmackDown and Tegan moving to Raw. According to the report, Shotzi will be a heel going forward, with Tegan continuing as a babyface.

Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez were moved to Raw in the Draft, and there is talk of shifting them to be a tag team going forward. They have tagged together before, however Crews was in the mid-card talent on SmackDown.

Finally, NXT call-ups Hit Row moved to SmackDown in the Draft, and will remain as a faction. According to the report, Isaiah ‘Swerve’ Scott and Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis will be working as a tag team, with Top Dolla planned to be pushed as a singles star.

Tonight’s SmackDown will be the first episode with the updates rosters, while also holding the fallout of Thursday’s Crown Jewel.
