Talent Frustrated With Lack Of Screen Time

WWE talent are reportedly frustrated with Shane McMahon’s push in the company.

According to Fightful Select, Shane McMahon is not personally being criticized, but the decision to feature him heavily on television has mounted frustration on other talent backstage.

WWE is currently utilizing a Wild Card Rule which already limits screen time for many low and mid card stars. Shane McMahon’s added screen time is not helping any stars who do not get featured on weekly television.

We’ve not heard of Shane being criticized personally, but that the decision to heavily feature Shane McMahon in the middle of a Wild Card scenario that already limits screen time for others is “infuriating.”

The report also states that stars are confused with Shane McMahon not appearing on live events, while they are on the road consistently. The frustration of working a heavy road schedule, and not receiving screen time is mounting.

Shane McMahon has worked a total of nine matches this year, with only three being on television.

The only positive note from the report is how optimistic talent are about the 24/7 title segments. WWE is reportedly not as strict or hands on with these segments, which attributes to people in the company believe it’s a success.
