After many months of negotiations Rey Mysterio Jr. has signed a deal with the WWE. The 43 year old former World Champion has agreed to a two-year contract with the WWE.
According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Rey Mysterio originally wanted a 18-month deal, but the WWE opted to have him sign for 2 years.
The deal does allow for Rey Mysterio to provide notice at the 18 month mark.
Early rumours suggest Rey Mysterio may join the Smackdown LIVE roster. He is expected to join the roster as soon as the WWE can bring him into a storyline.
