Rhea Ripley will be staying in the United States, and is expected to be part of the up-coming NXT tapings.

PWInsider Elite reported yesterday that Ripley has already returned to Australia due to her U.S work visa expiring. Ripley has responded to that report on Instagram, indicating she is still in the United States.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite has issued an update on the situation, indicating multiple sources within WWE did state she was heading back to Australia this week. He went on to apologize if Rhea is indeed still in the country, that report was said in error.

Johnson did reiterate Ripley does have plans to return to her home country.

Ripley herself has confirmed in a recent interview with FOX Australia that her visa is expiring, stating she would stay in the United States two weeks after Wrestlemania before heading back to Australia.

“I’ve only been back home, I want to say three or four times since moving over here three years ago,” Ripley stated. “I was supposed to have this massive family time over ‘Mania, because my parents and my sister were going to fly down, they were going to come and watch Mania, be here for two weeks and after that my visa actually runs out so I have to go back home.

Fightful Select (subscription required) reports that Ripley booked for a match against Chelsea Green at the upcoming NXT television tapings.
