Matt Taven will remain with Ring Of Honor.

According to PWInsider, Taven has agreed to new terms with ROH, and will remain with the company. Taven’s contract was set to expire on 10/1, which is this up-coming Tuesday.

Taven announced at tonight’s Ring Of Honor television tapings that he plans on staying with the promotion.

Matt Taven lost the ROH World Championship during Death Before Dishonor on Friday night in Las Vegas.

Dave Meltzer noted in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, ROH did offer Taven substantial money to stay with the company, double or triple what NXT stars make.

WWE did have interest in him joining the promotion.
