Bully Ray could possibly sign a deal with a new promotion following news that his Ring Of Honor contract has lapsed.

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bully Ray’s contract with ROH has expired, and he has not been offered a new deal.

The report states that Ring Of Honor isn’t offering new deals during the pandemic, but ROH announcer Ian Riccaboni claims otherwise.

Riccoboni took to Twitter to state,  “I’m aware of multiple extensions, most of which are public, that occurred during the pandemic”

“It is not ok to tell a trade paper companies aren’t signing talent to surpress wages to pay talent less.” Riccoboni added. “July 18 is right around the corner. I wonder why anyone would float out there that a company with a steady television show isn’t doing new contracts.”

At this point it’s unknown what’s in the future for Bully Ray, he continues to host his widely popular radio show Busted Open Radio on SiriusXM.

Over the last few weeks Impact Wrestling aired teases that an Aces and Eights reunion would be happening soon, a group which Bully Ray lead in 2013.
