Roman Reigns Makes Appearance At Georgia Tech Football Game

Roman Reigns made his first public appearance since his leukemia announcement in October. Roman appeared in a brief video at the Georgia Tech vs. Georgia Bulldogs football game today at Sanford Stadium in Anthems, GA. Judging by the video posted by the official Georgia Tech Football Twitter, Roman looks to be a lot leaner, due to the treatments he’s undergoing.

Reigns announced his leukemia resurfaced back in October, and relinquished the WWE Universal Championship. Reigns has begun treatment and looks to be in good spirits.

The WWE plans to use Roman Reigns diagnosis in their storylines going forward. Dave Meltzer reported this week that Brock Lesnar is penciled in to face Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania 35, and Roman Reigns diagnosis is said to be part of the storyline leading into it.

Roman Reigns was at RAW a week after his announcement, and speculation is that he was there to tie up some loose ends and give his blessing on using this real life situation as part of WWE’s storylines.

Roman’s timetable for an in-ring return is not even talked about at the moment, but he is slated to make an appearance at Wrestlemania Axxess this year.
