Second Generation Wrestler Reportedly Signs With WWE

WWE has reportedly signed 24-year-old powerlifter Jennifer Cantu.

Following the largest Performance Center Class in WWE history being revealed earlier this week, another name has signed with the company, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

24-year-old Mexican Olympic powerlifter Jennifer Cantu has reportedly signed with the company despite not being announced as part of the latest Performance Center Class. Cantu competed as a weightlifter in both the World Championships and the Pan American Games.

Cantu, who is the daughter of Mexican wrestler Bronco, began training as a wrestler in 2019. She attended a WWE tryout in late 2019.

Cantu will join the following names in Orlando’s WWE Performance Center:

⁃ Bronson Rechsteiner, former College Football Star and the son of Rick Steiner)

⁃ Kira Forster Hennigan, former Impact Knockout’s Champion known to fans as Taya Valkyrie

⁃ Shaun Ricker, formerly known as Eli Drake and now LA Knight, he made his debut by crashing the NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day Kickoff Show.

⁃ Angela Arnold, better known as AQA, Arnold was trained by WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T.

⁃ Parker Boudreaux, former UCF Player who has been compared to a young Brock Lesnar.

⁃ Anthony Henry, a standout star who has competed on EVOLVE.

⁃ Chance Barrow, known to fans as Harlem Bravado, Barrow has competed in Pro Wrestling NOAH

⁃ Theresa Serrano, formerly known as Lacey Ryan and now Zoey Stark, she made her NXT debut last week.

⁃ Christian Brigham, known to fans as Christian Casanova, Brigham picked up several championships on the Independent scene.

⁃ Priscilla Kelly, now known as Gigi Dolin, Kelly competed in the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

⁃ Brianna Coda, formerly known as Elayna Black and now Cora Jade, Coda made her NXT debut in the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

⁃ Christian Hubble, known to fans as Blake Christian, Hubble has competed in promotions such as GCW and IMPACT Wrestling.

⁃ Matrick Belton, a former College Football Player who trained at Combat Zone Wrestling.

⁃ Camron Clay, known on the independent scene as Camron Branae.

⁃ Joe Ariola, an Illinois State High School Wrestling Champion.

⁃ Taylor Grado, formerly known as Avery Taylor on the independent scene.

⁃ Karissa Rivera, who has appeared on NXT and SmackDown in the past.

⁃ Bobby Stevenson, a former University Of Minnesota Heavyweight and brother of Gable Stevenson, who ‘seems to be a lock’ for WWE in 2022 after finishing College Eligibility or after the 2024 Olympics
