WWE Postpones Smackdown Live Event Monday Night

WWE has postponed this Monday’s Smackdown Live house show in Corbin, KY.

Ticket buyers were told the event has been re-scheduled for October 17. 2019.

This event has been rescheduled to October 17, 2019 (previously May 6, 2019). Original tickets remain valid. Ticket purchased with the original date may be refunded by request at point of purchase.

WWE will likely have Smackdown Live stars appear on RAW this Monday due to the cancelled house show. According to Dave Meltzer, the company teasing a Roman Reigns appearance on RAW this Monday is due record low ratings this past week.

Reigns stated on Twitter he had unfinished business on RAW, but then WWE stated he would not be allowed to appear due to Smackdown responsibilities.

Last Monday’s RAW averaged 2,158,000 viewers, which is the lowest in modern history aside from the Christmas and New Year’s Eve pre-taped events.
