Asuka Tag Team Partner For Tonight’s TLC PPV Revealed
WWE will be presenting their TLC pay-per-view tonight from the ThunderDome inside Tropicana Field.
Tonight’s event will feature a Women’s Tag Team Title match between Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler against Asuka and a mystery partner. Earlier today, reports emerged indicating WWE has been tight-lipped about a possible surprise return at tonight’s show.
According to Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline, Charlotte Flair is expected to return at tonight’s TLC pay-per-view as Asuka’s mystery partner. WWE has been planning on Lana being written with a storyline injury for a few weeks, leading to Flair’s expected return.
At one point, Charlotte was planned to return to at WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view next month. She has been out of action after undergoing surgery earlier this year.
Charlotte is currently in St. Petersburg, FL, the site of Tropicana Field, and tonight’s TLC event.
WWE TLC will take place at 7 p.m ET on WWE Network and pay-per-view.
