Impact Wrestling will be airing their Slammiversary pay-per-view on Saturday, July 18.

The situation with the Impact World Championship will be revealed tonight during Impact on AXS.

Tessa Blanchard will defend her Impact Wrestling Championship in a Five-Way Match against Michael Elgin, Eddie Edwards, Trey, and Ace Austin.

Blanchard is currently residing in Mexico, and has not worked any Impact events since the lockdown.

Based on this main event being set, it would appear she will be able to travel back to the United States to work this event.

Other Slammiversary Notes

Another match being setup for the event is former NXT Star Deonna Purrazzo vs. Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts Championship. Purrazzo attacked Grace following the main event of tonight’s show on AXS TV.

Impact Wrestling continues to advertise ex-WWE stars on their Slammiversary commercial, and Josh Matthews is hinting on tonight’s episode we may see some appear at the PPV on July 18.

In the final moments of tonight’s show, Michael Elgin is shown speaking to a fellow Canadian on the phone.  It would appear they are bringing in a mystery person for the Slammiversary event.
