WWE Employee Fired For Disrespecting Released Talent

Earlier today, former WWE star Mickie James shared a photo and video of a “care package” the company sent following her release.

Mickie James received a box from WWE that included a trash bag full of her personal belongings.

Triple H responded to the online backlash following James’ tweet, announcing the employee responsible for disrespecting recently released talent has been fired.

“Upon learning of the disrespectful treatment some of our recently released talent received on behalf of the company, we took immediate action. The person responsible for this inconsiderate action has been fired and is no longer with @WWE”

Stephanie McMahon apologized to Mickie James, reiterating the employee responsible has been fired.

“.@MickieJames I am embarrassed you or anyone else would be treated this way. I apologize personally and on behalf of @WWE. The person responsible is no longer with our company.”

Former WWE star Gail Kim applauded Hunter for swift action, but revealed it has been happening for many years.

Kim also revealed that when she was on the road, female WWE talent had “drawers” where they kept their stuff so they didn’t have to constantly bring it home.

Maria Kannelis revealed she received a similar “care package” last year following her release.
