AEW Canadian Television Update

All Elite Wrestling recently announced deals with both United States and United Kingdom for their weekly television show beginning this fall.

All Elite Wrestling founder Tony Khan is working on securing additional network deals, including Canada.

According to Jason Agnew of TSN’s ‘Saturday Night’s Main Event’ radio show, AEW did approach TSN to air their weekly show, and the answer was not a “no” from the network.

TSN has a long history of airing pro-wrestling content in Canada. The network aired shows from AWA, Stampede Wrestling, WCW, and WWE. WWE RAW was on the network for a decade before moving to The Score (now known as Sportsnet 360).

It’s unknown how far along talks are between AEW and TSN.
