Mystery Surrounds Kylie Rae Absence From IMPACT Bound For Glory

Kylie Rae was scheduled to face Deaonna Purrazzo at IMPACT Wrestling’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view for the Knockouts Championship.

Prior to the match beginning, Su Yung replaced Rae, and then went on to defeat Purrazzo for the title. No explanation was provided on why Rae was not in the match.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update on the situation, revealing Kylie Rae did drive with other wrestlers to Nashville on Friday. She was inquiring about call times for the show on Saturday, but did not arrive.

Concern grew in the locker room as nobody knew her status for the show, and the decision was then made Saturday afternoon to replace her with Su Yung.

The decision to have Su Yung replace Kylie Rae was made that afternoon. Kylie Rae was forced off of Black Label Pro at the GCW Collective due to an injury, but if that was the reason for her absence, talent was not made aware of it by IMPACT when they inquired.

Multiple wrestlers have reached of those close to her, and are happy to report she’s alive and well, but no further details are known at this time.

It should be noted, all this information comes from other talent and not IMPACT directly. Details of any talks between Rae and IMPACT directly are unknown.
