Prior to their exit from WWE, The Revival was set to undergo a repackage.

According to Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net, Vince McMahon personally handed Dash and Dawson concept art for how their new ring gear would look.

WWE planned on also giving the team new entrance music, as the Vince McMahon wanted to turn the pair into a comedy team.

During the final meeting between The Revival and Vince McMahon, he handed these photos to them.

In December 2019, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company had plans on turning The Revival into a comedy act.

During an episode of Friday Night SmackDown on December 13, Dash Wilder tripped when making his entrance. This spot was part of the build up to repackage the team.

The pair was released from their WWE contract on April 10, and are now going under the ring names Cash Wilder and Dax Harwood.
