Vince Set To Shake Things Up Tonight On RAW

Vince McMahon is set to make his return to television tonight on RAW to “shake things up? While it is unknown whether his announcement will be a Superstar Shakeup, or simply revising the current structure of the authority figures on the program, we do have some insight on Vince not wanting to make an appearance.

Several weeks ago Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that Vince McMahon doesn’t like appearing on television, as he feels like he looks old. Today, Wrestlevotes on Twitter stated that he heard Vince does not want to come back on tv, but his return shows signs of desperation.

The talent backstage feel like Vince will be doing a Superstar Shakeup, but even they are in the dark, and that has not been confirmed. According to Mike Johnson, Kurt Angle’s return last night was last minute, as he was originally supposed to appear tonight.

Regardless of what happens tonight, the ratings should be up in anticipation of the announcement.

Tonight’s Vince McMahon angle is legitimately intriguing. I’ve heard Vince really didn’t want to come back to TV, so this shows signs of desperation. Is he really going to hit the “reset” button? Not sure, but RAW is in need of a facelift either way.
