Shatner compared WWE events to Star Trek conventions

“It’s very much the same, the approbation, the joy,” Shatner said. “The enthusiasm the wrestling audience shows toward its favorite people is not dissimilar to the enthusiasm ‘Star Trek’ fans show.”
