WWE has officially announced their return to Madison Square Garden for RAW and Smackdown for the first time in 10 years.

WWE will hold RAW on Monday September 9, and SmackDown on September 10 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The company sent an e-mail to fans in the area who will be able to secure Verified Fan tickets through Ticketmaster.

WWE Live TV Returns to Madison Square Garden for the first time in 10 years with Monday Night RAW on September 9th and Smackdown Live on September 10th, and they want to make sure their fans have the best chance to get tickets.

WWE last held RAW and Smackdown in Madison Square Garden in 2009. The reason behind the WWE not running televised events is due to union rules. If you televise an event from Madison Square Garden you are forced to hire a certain number of unionized employees at a specific pay rate.

WWE’s television tapings at Madison Square Garden will be held days before AAA makes their debut in the arena on Sept 15, 2019.

WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden was originally revealed when the company’s touring schedule for the remainder of 2019 was released late March.

Pre Sale registration is now available through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan portal.
