Vince McMahon Delaying Weekly Creative Meetings

This past Thursday, WWE creative had a meeting to solidify plans for tomorrow night’s RAW, and finalizing matches for the up-coming Fastlane pay-per-view.

According to Dave Metzler on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, the meeting went until 3:05 AM, which has been a pattern as of late.

Meltzer revealed that WWE’s mid-week creative meetings are scheduled to start around 5 or 6 PM, but have been constantly delayed by Vince McMahon.

The meetings end up starting at 10 PM, and ending past 3 AM, due to McMahon putting them off by several hours.

The team reportedly sits around and waits for Vince McMahon to finish whatever he is doing, which delays the meetings by several hours.

While this may not be the only reason RAW has not been strong within the last several months, it does add to the list of issues with the program.

To make matters worse, Vince McMahon has re-wrote the entire show just hours before broadcast in some instances.

Last week’s meeting revealed a Shield reunion for tomorrow night’s RAW, which is expected to setup a match at Fastlane.
