WWE Deal Allows Cain Velasquez To Compete At One More AAA Show

Former UFC star Cain Velesquez recently signed a multi-year deal with WWE, and will eventually transition as a member of the roster.

During an interview with ESPN’s Ariel Helwani, Cain Velasquez revealed that his deal with WWE allows him to fulfil contractual agreements with AAA in Mexico for one more match.

Cain Velasquez signed a deal with AAA earlier this year, and has one match remaining on his contract. He was originally scheduled to compete at AAA”s “Invading LA” event this month, but that show was cancelled. Velasquez states his next match with AAA is up to the promotion to decide.

Last July, Velasquez had a short training sting at the  WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

Cain Velasquez will make his WWE debut on 10/31 against Brock Lesnar at WWE Crown Jewel.
