WWE has filed a new trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the term “Bella Army”

The Bella Army trademark, which was filed on 6/26, will be used for entertainment services, which does include “performances by a professional wrestler.”

Considering both Nikki and Brie are retired, an in-ring return will most likely not happen.

The interesting thing about this filing is that it is not for merchandise, considering the company sells t-shirts with the term.

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

It’s unknown how Nikki and Brie Bella will be tied to the trademark, considering they have used the term during their tenure in WWE.

The trademark does cover a lot of different services, including fan clubs and blogs, which could be the reasoning behind the filing.

The Bella Twins currently have their own podcast on Endeavour, which also has a separate partnership with WWE for the WWE Podcast Network.

WWE did announce the pair will be inducted in the 2020 Hall of Fame, which was postponed due to the the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brie and Nikki Bella both officially retired from in-ring competition in 2019.
