WWE Files Trademarks For NXT Talent

WWE has filed three new trademarks with The United States Patent and Trademark Office.

On 1/8, WWE filed the following trademarks under entertainment services, for use in professional wrestling. The applications were entered into the trademark office database on 01/12.

  • Ben Carter
  • Tino Sabbatelli
  • Tony Gill

Last month, WWE confirmed the signing of Ben Carter following rumors of him joining the company back in October. He is currently assigned to the NXT UK brand.

Tony Gill is best known for his time in IMPACT Wrestling as Gursinder Singh as part of the Desi Hit Squad alongside Mahabali Shera and Rohit Raju. He signed with WWE last year, and part of the NXT UK division.

Tino Sabbatelli re-signed with WWE last fall, after being released in April as part of company wide cuts. He made one in-ring appearance on AEW Dark last summer under the name ‘Sabby’.

Intent to Use: The applicant has a bona fide intention, and is entitled, to use the mark in commerce on or in connection with the identified goods/services.
