Ben Carter has been making waves following standout performances as of late, most notably his match with Scorpio Sky during AEW’s Late Night Dynamite episode.
Unfortunately, following his appearance, he revealed he tested positive for COVID-19. AEW dealt with multiple positive cases last month.
Earlier this week, Fightful Select (subscription required) revealed WWE has had interest in signing Carter for the NXT UK brand.
Fightful has learned that NXT UK has made a major play to land Ben Carter in recent weeks.
During a Twitch stream, AEW star Miro eluded to Carter signing a deal with WWE. “I know, but we lost Ben Carter. Ben Carter’s lost, he’s gone to the dark side. I mean, good luck to Ben Carter, good luck to him, I was really impressed with his stuff.”
