Kota Ibushi House Show Match Scheduled To Air On WWE Network
The WWE Network will be focusing on Japanese wrestling on their next instalment of “Hidden Gems”. According to WWE Network News the following matches are set to be added on Thursday January 3rd.
- Bobby Roode vs. Kota Ibushi (NXT Live Event, Los Angeles, October 30th, 2016)
- Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Eric Young vs. Samoa Joe (NXT Live Event, Los Angeles, October 30th, 2016)
- Antonio Inoki vs. Larry Sharpe (Showdown at Shea, August 9, 1980)
- Sting vs. The Great Muta (WCW Power Hour TV, September 1, 1989)
- Shinjiro Otani vs. Dean Malenko (WCW Worldwide, May 18, 1996)
- Jerry Lawler & Greg Gagne vs. Riki Choshu & Mr. Saito (AWA, May 14, 1988)
Kota Ibushi was a participant in WWE’s Cruiserweight Classic, as well as the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. He also participated in a few NXT matches, but ended up not signing with the company.
