WWE will be presenting their SummerSlam pay-per-view next month from the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Following this past Sunday’s Extreme Rules, the company is beginning to build angles for their biggest event of the summer.
One major angle to setup the main event of SummerSlam was reportedly nixed from the show. Vince McMahon re-wrote the script prior to the show, which was among reasons why the company were late in taping Monday’s episode.
Mike Johnson mentioned on PWInsider Elite, WWE had plans to begin taping around 12:30/1:00 p.m ET, but ended up staring two hours after originally scheduled.
