Sheamus Spotted Backstage At SmackDown

Earlier today we reported that Elias was seen backstage at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama ahead of tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX.

PWInsider has corroborated our original report, and adds that Sheamus is also backstage at SmackDown.

Sheamus was in Chicago this past weekend during WWE Survivor Series festivities, but did not make any appearances.

Sheamus has been off television since April after suffering a concussion. Sheamus has been dealing with spinal stenosis for two years, which is the same diagnosis which caused Edge’s early retirement.

No word if Sheamus or Elias will appear on television tonight.
