According to Post Wrestling, NXT’s Austin Theory did replace Andrade, teaming with Angel Garza against the Street Profits at Wrestlemania 36.

An angle was shot with Theory replacing Andrade, which is expected to run during RAW this Monday.


Another WWE champion will not be participating in Wrestlemania 36.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE United States Champion Andrade did not compete in a tag-team match against against the Street Profits during the Wrestlemania 36 tapings.

Andrade is reportedly suffering from a rib injury, which prevented him in competing in the match.

WWE decided to use a NXT star to team with Angel Garza to face the Street Profits. It’s unknown who that was at this time.

Earlier today news broke that The Miz would be compete at Wrestlemania due to ‘illness’.

The following names are now no longer competing at Wrestlemania 36

  • Dana Brooke – Illness
  • Rey Mysterio – illness
  • The Miz – Illness
  • Roman Reigns – Precautionary
  • Andrade – Injury

WWE pre-recorded Wrestlemania 36 this week, which will air on 4/4 and 4/5 on the WWE Network and PPV.
