Another WWE Executive Departs Company

WWE terminated multiple executives last week, with another name revealed today.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Pam Murrin, who was WWE Senior VP for Data Strategy has been released from the company. She was was the company since 2016.

Murrin joins other executives who were released, including John Brody, Brian Nurse, and Mark Kowal.

One WWE source revealed the recent departures are “likely part of the changing of the guard as a new executive team has replaced former WWE Co-Presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson.”

Vince McMahon has began to distance the company on the importance of data and analytics on financial calls. George Barrios advocated for mining data from WWE Network and other revenue streams in order to evolve the future of company. Barrios exited the company earlier this year.
