Apollo Crews will make his return to Monday Night RAW after being out of action for over a month.

WWE announced Apollo Crews will be kicking off RAW, defending his United States Championship against MVP, who has been in possession of the newly designed title in recent weeks.

Apollo Crews has been off WWE television due to issues related to COVID-19. He missed last month’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view after not being cleared to compete. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer did report Crews tested positive for the virus.

WWE has announced segments involving Drew McIntyre responding to Randy Orton’s challenge, and how Asuka will seeking retribution on Sasha Banks after last week’s episode.

WWE RAW will air on August 3 at 8 p.m ET on USA Network.
