Bobby Lashley Wins WWE Championship During Monday Night RAW

Bobby Lashley has defeated The Miz, winning the WWE Championship for the first time in his career.

During this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW, Lashley was set to challenge The Miz for the title. The match, which was set to begin at 9 p.m ET was delayed due to “stomach issues” with The Miz. The match was scheduled for later that night.

During the re-scheduled match, The Miz ended getting himself counted out, causing Shane McMahon due give him an ultimatum, either be stripped of the title, or defend it in the main event of RAW. Shane McMahon made sure the main event match would be fair, bringing lumberjacks out to prevent The Miz from counting himself out.

The final moments of the match saw Bobby Lashley execute The Hurt Lock submission, causing The Miz to tap out.

The final moments of the match can be seen below.

In WWE, Lashley has previously held the ECW World Championship (x2), WWE Intercontinental Championship (x2), and the WWE United States Championship (x2).
