Charlotte Flair is back on WWE television, returning on the November 6 episode of SmackDown to help clear the ring in the women’s tag team title angle.
Flair came out during the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match between champions B-Fab and Michin and challengers Fatal Influence. The match ended in a no contest after Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley interfered and attacked both teams.
Bliss and Paxley were outnumbered, so Bayley came out from Raw to join them. Then Flair made her entrance, and the four of them stood tall over Jade Cargill, Michin, B-Fab and Fatal Influence to close the segment.
Flair had been out of action since the October 9 episode of SmackDown, when Paxley replaced her in the Women’s Tag Team Title match against Fatal Influence. Her return had been expected, but WWE had not announced it ahead of time.
The angle sets up the women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series on November 28 in Houston. The Bloodline is expected to face the 946 in the men’s WarGames match at the same show, and the women’s side is now taking shape with Flair back in the mix.
Flair is one of the most decorated women in WWE history, and her return gives the women’s division a top star heading into Survivor Series season. She has not wrestled since she was taken out by Cargill, Michin and B-Fab a few weeks ago.
What is confirmed is the return and the angle that closed the segment. What is not confirmed is when Flair wrestles her first match back, or who she faces.
