Finn Balor vs. Brock Lesnar is set for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble. During RAW tonight an angle took place where Braun Strowman was stripped of the opportunity.

Braun Strowman chased Baron Corbin to the backstage area where Vince McMahon’s limousine was. Strowman broke the door of Vince McMahon’s limousine in an attempt to get Baron Corbin.

McMahon ended up fining Braun Strowman $100,000 and stripping him of his opportunity at the WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble.

Throughout the night many superstars were posted outside Vince McMahon’s door in hopes of speaking to him to gain the Universal Championship opportunity.

Vince McMahon made his way to the ring to announce would be Braun Strowman’s replacement at the Royal Rumble.

John Cena made his way to the ring to step up to the challenge. They were interrupted by Drew Mcintyre who claims he should face Lesnar at Royal Rumble.

Then Corbin came out and stated he should face Lesnar at Royal Rumble.

Finn Balor then came out and stated that he is the only person out of them who has ever been Universal Champion.

Vince McMahon said Finn was a great competitor, but maybe wasn’t suited for a match against Lesnar. Finn said that Vince has never believed in him, but the fans do.

Vince McMahon then setup a Fatal-Four Way match with John Cena vs. Drew Mcintyre vs. Baron Corbin vs. Finn Balor for the main event.

Jinder Mahal then spoke with Vince backstage and stated he should have a shot at Brock Lesnar. McMahon gave him a choice of anyone in the Fatal-Four Way match, and he picked Finn Balor.

Mahal vs. Balor was then setup, and whoever wins will be in the Fatal-Four Way main event.

Balor defated Mahal, and was put into the Fatal-Four Way Match.

Finn Balor then defeated John Cena, Baron Corbin, and Drew McIntyre in a Fatal-Four Way Match.

Finn Balor will now face Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble for the Universal Championship.

Braun Strowman is currently not medically cleared, after undergoing elbow surgery to remove elbow spurs.
