Former 4-time WWE Tag Team Champion Sylvain Grenier has returned to the company in a backstage agent role.

Sylvain Grenier recently spoke with TVA Sports revealing that he signed a deal with WWE following a impromptu meeting with Kevin Dunn.

Grenier reached out to Dunn last April during a WWE event in Montreal. He was inquiring about obtaining promotional photographs from his time in the company for his fitness tv show. Dunn mentioned they were looking for backstage agents.

Sylvain Grenier met with WWE officials during the Friday Night SmackDown premiere in October, and an agreement was signed shortly after.

When WWE came to Montreal in April 2019, I went to meet Kevin Dunn (Executive Vice-President of Television Content) to ask him for pictures of the time I won the team titles at the Bell Center , explains Grenier. I needed it for the intro to my new fitness TV show. We started talking about things and others and he told me that the company was looking for agents. I had just had a child, I was working on my show, I didn’t want to end up on the road as much as before. But he told me that things had changed. The company then invited me to the premiere of SmackDown on FOX in Los Angeles and a few exchanges later, we had an agreement

Grenier began his duties as a backstage agent on 11/13 during Monday Night RAW in Lexington, KY.

In 2003 and 2007 where he was part Sylvain Grenier of the tag-team La Résistance and became a four-time WWE World Tag Team Champion (once with René Duprée and three times with Rob Conway).
