Former Steve Cutler Speaks On Talent Waiting To Meet Vince McMahon
Earlier this year, Steve Maclin, better known to WWE fans as Steve Cutler was released from the company.
In a recent interview with Fightful, which will be published this Monday, Maclin revealed he was asked to stop waiting outside Vince McMahon’s office, something that a number of talent do in hopes to get a meeting.
Fightful Select (subscription required), provided a sneak peek at details from the interview, stating Bayley encouraged them and believed they were doing the right thing. At one point, they were advised to stop waiting outside Vince’s office, instead wait in catering until Vince was ready to see them.
Maclin revealed they eventually received a meeting with Bruce Prichard, who pitched the idea for Blake and him to be aligned with Baron Corbin as Knights Of The Lone Wolf. That partnership was short-lived, and Maclin was released from WWE shortly thereafter.
Chelsea Green recently spoke on her struggles receiving a meeting with Vince McMahon, stating she waited for several weeks outside his office during television tapings.
