WWE has reportedly signed independent wrestler Kris Statlander to a developmental contract.

Squared Circle Sirens reveals that Statlander has signed a deal with WWE, and is scheduled to report to the WWE Performance Center in January.

Her work has been featured in many independent promotions including WrestlePro, Beyond Wrestling, SHIMMER, and Bar Wrestling.

Statlander became the first female to win the IndependentWrestling.tv championship after defeating Orange Cassidy this past May in Chicago, IL.

She was an extra at the NXT television tapings this past February, and appeared on an episode of SmackDown as a member of “The Brooklyn Belles” this past April.
