Jon Moxley made a surprise cameo during FS1’s WWE Backstage programming on March 27.
The unannounced appearance was during the broadcast, which featured Renee Young, Booker T and Xavier Woods reliving classic Wrestlemania matches.
Moxley appeared for less than a second, startling his wife Renee Young in the process.
In an interview Thursday with PWInsider Elite (subscription required), Jon Moxley revealed Renee Young got heat from WWE due to the unexpected appearance.
Moxley didn’t go into details, stating he would let interviewer Mike Johnson know the story off-air, but did state “the short answer is yes” when asked if Young got in trouble from WWE management.
