Kairi Sane Injury Update

Kairi Sane made a brief appearance during Monday’s episode of RAW, briefly accompanying Asuka during her entrance, then returning backstage.

Sane was knocked out during Sunday’s TLC Match, and was not medically cleared to compete following concerns of a concussion.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Sane is tentatively expected to return to action at WWE’s Madison Square Garden event on 12/26.

Sane is advertised for the main event of the show, where The Kabuki Warriors face Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch inside a Steel Cage.

Dave Meltzer noted that Vince McMahon was not present during Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view, and Paul Heyman handled all RAW matches, while Bruce Prichard handled all SmackDown matches.

The general consensus is that Sane should have been removed from the match early on, and an audible should have been called on to how to finish the match without her.

Fan footage has been released showing Becky Lynch protecting Sane during the TLC match this past Sunday.
