Former WWE star Lance Storm is set to return to the WWE as a backstage producer.

Storm made the announcement Saturday morning via Twitter. “For those wondering: After SWA closes I will be returning to the WWE to work as a Producer. I’m really looking forward to working with such a high level of talent again.”

Lance Storm left the WWE in 2005 with plans to open a wrestling school in Calgary. Storm successfully ran Storm Wrestling Academy for 14 years training the likes of Tyler Breeze, Tenille Dashwood, and Peyton Royce.

In August, Storm announced he would close the Storm Wrestling Academy school at the end of 2019.

Storm’s start date with the WWE will be sometime in early 2020.
