It’s no surprise that Matt Hardy is currently in limbo when it comes to his pro wrestling career. This could be the last month for Matt with World Wrestling Entertainment as his contract is scheduled to expire on March 1st.

According to PWInsider, Matt Hardy has continued discussions with WWE, but has yet to sign a new deal.

Dave Meltzer noted last month in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Hardy is expected to leave WWE once his contract does expire

Hardy reportedly pitched an idea to WWE to revive his “broken” character, but the company was interested.

PWInsider has also confirmed that Jeff Hardy is scheduled to be at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL next week for a progress update following his knee surgery last year.

Jeff Hardy has been out of action since April 2019, and underwent surgery in May to repair multiple lingering issues in his right knee

Fightful Select reported last September that Jeff Hardy’s current deal with WWE has been extended for “at least” another year due to injury.

WWE has the ability to freeze talent contract if injured, and add additional time.

Jeff Hardy is also scheduled to appear in court on April 6 following a DWI arrest in October 2019.
