Over the last few weeks, WWE’s ban on third party platforms came into effect. This caused superstars such as AJ Styles and Cesaro to shut down their channels until further notice. However, despite the order, some superstars continued to use third party platforms.

One of the superstars to continue to use their third party platforms was Zelina Vega, who refused to give up her Twitch and Onlyfans accounts. This led to Vega’s recent WWE release.

Despite all of this, multiple WWE superstars may have been given a large opportunity related to the UpUpDownDown YouTube channel, according to a report from Fightful Select (subscription required).

Fightful reports that Mia Yim, Shayna Baszler, Dakota Kai and Jessamyn Duke, who all had and have Twitch channels have become ‘co-commissioners’ of WWE’s UpUpDownDown YouTube channel. It was also noted that they will be allowed a lot of creative freedom in order to grow the channel, which already has over 2 million subscribers.

The UpUpDownDown YouTube channel was founded by Xavier Woods in 2015, but remains a WWE owned property. Professional wrestling may not seem like an ideal space for gaming, however Woods has managed to merge both video games and wrestling to create a huge YouTube channel, which has featured the likes of Seth Rollins, Adam Cole, Ronda Rousey and even Stephanie McMahon!
