News broke earlier today that Mustafa Ali is set to be replaced for the Elimination Chamber match due to injury.

As first reported by Fightful.com, Mustafa Ali has been working through a tailbone injury, and another injury was accelerated at last night’s WWE live event in Fort Wayne, IN.

PWInsider followed up with the report that Mustafa Ali is dealing with a concussion, and is not competing at tonight’s Smackdown live house show in Canton, OH.

Ali is scheduled to be evaluated prior to Smackdown Live tomorrow, but this recent concussion could have him out of this Sunday’s Elimination Chamber match.

The official word from WWE’s medical team is slated to be made tomorrow, and an announcement should be made on Smackdown Live regarding his replacement at Elimination Chamber if he is indeed not cleared.
